Dear Friends of German Comedy,
I got back to London earlier this week after a surprisingly successful time in Australia. At the Melbourne Festival Herr Kuhnle and I even got nominated for the Barry Award, the most coveted comedy prize of the Southern hemisphere.
The one downside of spending two months down under is the relaxed lifestyle which did prevent me from writing any decent new material. I simply wasn’t angry enough. So bring on the inadequacies and mass hysterias of Britain – there’s an Edinburgh show to be written by the end of July.
But now for some more self-obsessed news: Herr Kuhnle and I will embark on our first UK tour later this month. Please find the dates and venues at the bottom of this email.
If you feel in need of a dose of precise humour before then I can’t recommend the Hamburg Model Railway Museum highly enough.
