Dear Friends of German Comedy,
I’ve had a very frustrating week!
Once again, I’ve been overlooked for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, demonstrating blatant bias against Germans and non-participants.
I had half planned to go to the Edinburgh Fringe for two or three days just to get a feel if I might enjoy going up for the whole shebang next year. But the thought of coming out of an overcrowded Waverley Station to the tune of Scotland The Brave played by some Herbert (Hamish?) on a bagpipe was enough to put me off going for this as well as next year’s festival.
I am however very much looking forward to coming to Auld Reekie and plenty of other Scottish towns and cities next April. Nice and quiet and hopefully Hearts are at home as well.
